Ylang ylang flowers are prepared by steam distillation, Ylang Ylang is an evergreen medium tree, up to 20-25 meters high; single leaves alternate, arranged in two rows of pinnately compound leaves, long oval leaves, wavy margins; flowers are green at the beginning, gradually turn yellow and emit fragrance , the aroma is strongest before withering. Flowers are used in perfume raw materials and have the reputation of “world champion of fragrant flowers”, also known as “flower of flowers”.Ylang ylang flower colors are yellow, pink, purple-blue, and the essential oil is obtained by distilling the flowers. The light yellow essential oil extracted from yellow flowers is the best.

Ylang ylang essential oil is a fairly long-lasting scented essential oil. It only takes 2-3 drops for negative ion broad fragrance, which can last for more than three days. It is quite suitable to be used as a homemade essential oil perfume. It is a good fixative.
