Clove hydrosol is an aromatic liquid, that has sedative effect on senses. It has an intense, warm and spicy scent with soothing notes. It is obtained as a by-product during the extraction of Clove Bud Essential Oil. Organic Clove hydrosol is obtained by steam distillation of Eugenia Caryophyllata or Cloves flowering buds. Cloves has been largely used in USA and was considered very valuable in ancient times. Cloves are used to make teas and concoctions to treat cold, cough and flu. It has also been used for culinary purposes as well, to flavour foods and create drinks.
